Rider in the Night (Poem)

Cobble stone emboldens bone

clip, clop, clip.

Shadowed hoof and blackened wine

sip, stop, sip.

Reddened sun once boldly shone

drops, down, deep.

Bladed moonrise tries to bind

drip, drop, drip.

Ankled essence turns to hide

clip, clop, clip.

Race against the fated known

tick, tock, tick.
